when WEDDING DIGEST asked me to do a make up feature for them on nature inspired make up looks, they picked GREEN and said it was perfect for me..suddenly,i asked myself "WHY GREEN?";then started thinking about these:
"when you hear about the color green, this would remind you of nature, animo la salle or even my birthstone, the shiny emerald.
Green is a balancing color and blends well with all skin shades.
No matter what your eye shade is, you, too, can wear this groovy color on your wedding day...yes!deinitely you can.
There are a many ways to wear green eye makeup on your wedding.however,in this photo,my main inspiration for this look,is the grand cayman islands in the carribean.
i chose this for its relaxing ambience and simplicity;since it is a suggested color for destination weddings.
i fused in the vibrancy of the color and the freshness of nature."
GET THIS LOOK:

CHEEKS-nars in orgasm
LIPS-revlon beyond natural in rosy

    "look out girlfriend!"

What you're picking up from the cosmetic shelf might be harmful to you, especially to your skin. And the sad part? YOU don't know it. Some of us are really not concerned or not even aware of what we put on our face;we focus more on color, adaptability, scent and how much it costs.

As a professional in my field, let me share you bits and pieces of information that could change your point of view in choosing the right make up suited just for you.

I have always been a fan of acronyms and association of things;so memory work is not necessary in this activity that i will call CHINAS.

It is a similar task that we do when we check our food labels when we go to groceries and buy supplies. Thus ,CHINAS is a simple guide in checking labels if you are getting the right products for your make up.

    CHINAS means:

C-ruelty free or not tested on animals

    H-ypoallergenic

     I-ngredients

N-on Comedogenic (won't clog your pores)

    A-lcohol FREE

    S-helf life (expiration date)

"every makeup look has its own worth, but with wedding, it's PRICELESS" Looking back to my call center days as an agent, I used to glam up my teammates when we have functions or simply attending series of weddings of our co- agents and managers.I got inspired in making people happy by transforming them from plain janes to beautiful princesses.

Thus pursuing a career in make up made me realize what i really wanted to do for the rest of my life ; so I said "I do".

Having numerous,fun-filled experiences in giving life to beauty, I could say that wedding make up is the most crucial yet challenging phase in my practice in the field of makeup artistry and hairstyling.

Every wedding has its own way of preparation.I believe its success would depend not only on the couple who exerted efforts in putting it up;but also from the suppliers, like myself, who take care of every concern in the roles we play.

Working with couples from the call center industry is like playing charade--wherein, I have to deliver results before the hourglass runs out of sand;otherwise I am out.Meaning every single detail must be accurate, since there are no replays.

It starts with setting up an appointment, meeting up for the hair and makeup trial, and catching up on location with photographers for the prenuptial photoshoot at the couple's best and comfortable pace.Come wedding day,it will be just easy.

I cannot forget the smile on their faces after wrapping it up.It gives me a rewarding feeling that I did a good job from start to finish.Just a little secret that I will share why I love doing wedding make up is I still practice ACTIVE LISTENING and GOOD customer service.

Here are some tips for your wedding countdown:

    1.  One year before the wedding

a.Start scouting for your make up artist and hairstylist.Try making a list of names from wedding guides such as magazines and internet portals.

b.Cut out pictures of bridal looks

    2.  6 months before the wedding

Start screening the names on your list.Check their:

    a.availabilty

    b.website

c.rates and best offers they can give you

    3. A month before the wedding

Avoid having major changes such as getting a haircut, facial enhancements. It might affect your look on your wedding day

    4. 1 week before the wedding

    Get foot spa.manicure and pedicure

    5. 1 day before the wedding

Get a massage, change your polish and rest

    Make up suggesttions:

1.Inform your make up artist about the time of your wedding

    2.Bridal pouch must haves:

    a.facial tissue

    b.blotting paper for oily skin

    c.loose powder for retouch
